文学是语言的艺术,任何一部文学作品都是由一定的语词符号组合而成的,文学创作者驾驭语言的本领往往正表现在对词语的精心选择和独到运用上。如果说历史上曾有过“文学的自觉”的时代的话,那么,文学的进一步发展,必然会走向语言的自觉。
Literature is the art of language. Any one of the literary works is composed of a certain combination of words and symbols. The literary creators’ ability to master the language is often manifested in their careful selection and unique use of words. If there has ever been an “era of literary consciousness” in history, then the further development of literature will inevitably lead to the conscious of language.
