盈由节俭亏由奢,龙口矿务局北皂矿矿长常颖对此深有体会。常颖于1996年11月出任北皂矿矿长,才一年多的时间,就让北皂矿打了一个翻身仗;全年实现了安全生产,产煤124万吨,达到历史最好水平,销售124万吨,实现销售收入两亿多元,创历史最好水平;经济效益完成了承包指标的三倍,达到2137万元,创建矿14年历史最好水平;靠着这一串串闪光的数字,北皂矿九七年度被煤炭部授予“全国煤炭工业优秀企业金石奖”,常颖矿长也被煤炭部授予“全国煤炭工业优秀企业经营工作者金钟奖”。
