对钢的氮化硬化层深度的测量及氮化层质量评定,国内工厂基本是用维氏硬度计测量表面硬度,兼评表面脆性的。对于氮化层深度的测定,有的用金相法,有的用斜面或阶梯试验棒测定硬度法。但是,对于用维氏硬度计的加载试验力各厂也不统一。总之,在国内钢的氮化硬化层深度测定方法尚未有统一的标准。在国外一些工业发达国家中,编制了氮化层深度测定标准。
