高等教育自学考试能否适应社会发展的潮流,能否接受21世纪的挑战,关键有两点:一是看其能否把办学的指导思想放在符合社会发展需要的位置;二是看其所培养的劳动者是否具备较强的动手能力。归结起来仍是高等教育自学考试所培养人才的实际素质问题。而要有效提高学员的实际素质,就必须加强高等教育自考过程中的实践性环节考核。
