北京农业大学自1949年成立以来,虽然有部分教师继续着过去的研究工作,或参加了业务部门所组织的一些调查研究工作,但从全校来说,参加科学研究工作的教师还不够广泛,也未统一地加以组织和领导。学习国家在过渡时期的总任务後,教师们认识到,为了适应国家农业的社会主义改造与发展农业生产的需要,并进一步提高科学水平与教学质量,必须开展科学研究工作。在学校领导上的号召与组织下,1954年参加科学研究的教师占全校教师人数55.6％,进行的研究项目计有109项。许多年轻教师在老教师的指导与帮助下,积极参加了科学研究工作。为了总结工作,交流经验,初步展开学术上的自由论争,推动本校的科学研究工作向前发展,根据全国第二届高等农林教育会议关於“高等农林学校的任
Since its establishment in 1949, some teachers have continued their past research work or participated in some investigations and studies organized by the business department. However, from the entire university, teachers participating in scientific research are not yet extensive enough. Not unified to organize and lead. After learning the country’s overall task in the transitional period, teachers realized that scientific research must be carried out in order to meet the needs of socialist transformation and development of agricultural production in the national agriculture and to further improve the scientific level and teaching quality.
