牛的霉稻草中毒病在巴基斯坦、新西兰、澳大利亚、美国、印度、意大利、日本等国均有报道.我国1958年广东省首先报道,随后,陕西、四川、湖南、贵州、福建、广西及浙江等省,也陆续报道了本病,并造成大批牛死亡或淘汰.我省1958年冬至1986年3月,六安、安庆、宣城、滁县等地区都发生了牛的霉稻草中毒病,其中金寨县耕牛发生霉稻草中毒病头数3050
