一、巧妙运用教材中有趣的素材 成功地导入一节新课是上好整堂课的关键。根据学生好奇心强、求知欲强的特点,导入新课时手法要新颖,要有趣味性、故事性。比如,在学Merry Christmas时,可首先用英语介绍有关圣诞节的情况。每年的12月25日为圣诞节,前一天夜里,圣诞老人将礼物放在床头的长筒袜里面;此外,唱圣诞歌、装饰圣诞树等都是圣诞节的一部分。这样,学生不仅练习了听力,而且也了解了有关圣诞节的风俗习惯,扩展了知识面,更有利于学生理解课文,增强学习的兴趣,课上可穿插一些游戏活动,调动学生学习英语的积极性。
