随着科技的不断进步,经济的不断发展,当代社会对大学生的英语水平有了新的要求。而在大学英语的教学过程中却存有一些弊端,大大的制约了大学英语教学水平的提高。这其中很重要的一个方面就是课堂上学生主体地位被忽略,从而导致学生缺乏积极性,学习效率不高等问题。本文主要针对目前高校英语教学中所存在的弊端,提出一些切实可行的办法来发挥学生的主观能动性,突出学生主体地位,进而达到提高学生英语水平,提高教学效果的目的。
With the continuous progress of science and technology and the constant development of economy, contemporary society has new demands on college students’ English proficiency. However, there are some drawbacks in the process of college English teaching, which greatly restricts the improvement of college English teaching. One of the most important aspects of this is the neglect of students’ subjective status in the classroom, which leads to lack of enthusiasm and inefficient learning. This article mainly aims at the shortcomings existing in college English teaching at present and puts forward some practical measures to give play to the initiative of students and to highlight the students ’subjective status so as to achieve the goal of improving students’ English level and improving teaching effectiveness.
