首都博物馆的基本陈列《京城旧事——老北京民俗展》以及2008年春节举办的《老北京传统节令风情展》中展示了数枚压胜钱(图1、图2),它们所特有的民俗文化和历史印迹深深地吸引着参观者。首博馆藏的压胜钱数量相当丰富,品种较为齐全,形式、纹饰、尺寸各异。这些压胜钱属非正用品钱币,但在中国钱币中占有重要地位,主要是因为压胜钱从钱文、图案、用途等诸多方面体现了不同历史时期的民俗特点和民俗文化,对民俗学的研究有着重要意义。可以这样
