重庆忠县中坝遗址是三峡库区中的一个重要文化遗址。它有从新石器时代到明清时代连续叠压的文化层,时间跨越之大、堆积之厚都是十分罕见的。此遗址在三峡库区二期蓄水后将不复存在。国家博物馆派员揭取了这个文化层的剖面,将使之成为展示人类文明进程的一件重要展品。本文对此次抢救性揭取工作的工艺做了总结。
Chongqing Zhongxian dam site is an important cultural site in the Three Gorges reservoir area. It is from the Neolithic to the Ming and Qing Dynasties continuous stack of cultural layers, the time span of the accumulation of thick are very rare. This site in the Three Gorges Reservoir after the second phase will no longer exist. National Museum staff to pick up the profile of this cultural layer, will make it an important showcase of human civilization process. This article summarizes the process of the rescue work.
