由本会沉积学会、中国地质学会非金属矿产地质专业委员会联合召开的全国首届盐类沉积学术会议于1984年11月18—22日在四川自贡召开。来自地矿部、化工部、轻工部、国家建材局、石油部和中国科学院等系统所属49个单位的代表共112人参加了大会。会议收到论文近百篇,大会上宣读的有22篇。
The first session of the National Salt Sediment Conference, convened jointly by the Institute of Sedimentary Society and the Non-metallic Mineral Geological Commission of China Geological Society, was held in Zigong, Sichuan Province on November 18-22, 1984. A total of 112 delegates from 49 units, including the Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources, the Ministry of Chemical Industry, the Ministry of Light Industry, the State Bureau of Building Materials, the Ministry of Petroleum and the Chinese Academy of Sciences attended the conference. The conference received nearly a hundred papers, the conference read 22 articles.
