十七大报告指出,社会主义核心价值体系是社会主义意识形态的本质体现。建设社会主义核心价值体系,增强社会主义意识形态的吸引力和凝聚力,必须巩固马克思主义指导地位,坚持不懈地用马克思主义中国化最新成果武装全党、教育人民,用中国特色社会主义共同理想凝聚力量,用以爱国主义为核心的民族精神和以改革创新为核心的时代精神鼓舞斗志,用社会主义荣辱观引领风尚,巩固全党全国各族人民团结奋斗的共同思想基础。
The report of the 17th National Congress pointed out that the socialist core value system is the essence of the socialist ideology. To build a socialist core value system and enhance the attractiveness and cohesiveness of socialist ideology, we must consolidate the guiding position of Marxism, unremittingly arm the entire Party with the latest achievements of Marxism in China, educate the people, and congregate with the common ideal of socialism with Chinese characteristics. Strength, the national spirit with patriotism as the core, and the spirit of the times with reform and innovation as the core are invigorated, use the socialist concept of honor and disgrace to lead the fashion, and consolidate the common ideological foundation for the united struggle of the entire party and people of all ethnic groups throughout the country.
