With the development of social economy and network technology, the social service of university library has become the trend of the times. The development of university library social service needs a good operation mechanism for security. This paper analyzes the advantages of social service carried out by university libraries, and discusses the development mechanism, management mechanism, motive mechanism, coordination mechanism and balance mechanism of social service of university libraries.
