3月3日至6日,受国家科委派遣,国家高新技术产业开发区现场审定组一行7人,到佛山高新技术产业开发区进行考察、检查。他们通过现场考察及听取汇报之后认为:佛山高新技术产业开发区的起步工作行动迅速,进展顺利,富有成效;开发区的具体政策规定和实施细则已经制定,部分基础设施和建筑已经竣工,一些高新技术企业已经或即将投产;开发区在推进高新技术产业国际化方面已取得了实质性进展,审定组最后作出决定,佛山高新技术产业开发区予以通过,并授予认定标牌。
