明代甘州地区民间宗教信仰兴盛,出现了许多新的神祇,例如二郎神信仰、西夏忠武王信仰、平天仙姑信仰以及武烈帝信仰等.这些新的神祇与甘州乃至河西地区的政治、经济、民族、地缘等关系密切.尤其是在明——蒙古互动格局的新形势下,新神祇对于民间信仰的重构具有重要意义.本文以《武烈庙旧迹记》为中心,对于明代甘州地区武烈帝信仰出现的背景以及河西地区相关的民间宗教进行研究.
