海湾危机对世界经济产生了明显的不利影响。海湾战争结束不可能使美国经济衰退也随之结束。新的世界经济格局呈现五个主要特征:90年代中期世界经济将恢复正常和较迅速的增长;将以各极为中心形成数个较大的区域集团;将逐渐形成美、日、欧三驾马车主导的格局;亚太地区经济发展迅速,成为最有活力的部分;正在形成一种“无国界经济”。80年代以来亚太地区的经济合作已进入新的时期,可以预期在不太长的时间内建立起“东北亚经济圈”。
The Gulf crisis has had a clear and adverse impact on the world economy. The end of the Gulf War will not make the U.S. economic recession come to an end. The new world economic pattern presents five major characteristics: the world economy will resume normal and rapid growth in the mid-1990s; a few large regional blocs will be formed at each extreme center; and the United States, Japan and Europe will gradually form the troika Leading pattern; the rapid economic development in the Asia-Pacific region has become the most dynamic part; a “borderless economy” is being formed. The economic cooperation in the Asia Pacific region has entered a new period since the 1980s and it can be expected that the “Northeast Asia Economic Circle” will be established within a relatively short period of time.
