一、在一般的助动词或情态动词(如do,will,shall,would,should,can,may,must等)后面的to应省略。但在ought,used,have后的to不能省略。

Infinitive omission is a relatively difficult part, the rules are more complicated to use, but also in recent years, college entrance examination test hot spots. Infinitive omission in various forms, and some remove the infinitive symbol to, and some retain the infinitive symbol to, so that students are elusive, losing more. We conclude nine points from to to be omitted and to be reserved for students’ reference. First, in the general auxiliary verbs or modal verbs (such as do, will, shall, would, should, can, may, must, etc.) behind should be omitted. But after ought, used, have after can not be omitted.
