Zhejiang is a big economic province, a big maritime province, a large foreign trade province and a major market. January to October this year, the province achieved a total import and export value of 274.35 billion US dollars, an increase of 5.9%. The trade surplus was 131.41 billion U.S. dollars, up 15.6% over the same period of last year and accounting for 65.6% of the national trade surplus.
