This article was written in response to a comment from Я.Н.Белевцев on our notion of the causal relationship between magmatism and endogenic mineralization. These concepts are based on experimental data from many authors. From these experimental data, in the balance between silicate melt and hydrothermal solution, the metallogenic metals mainly remain in the melt, and only a few of them are transferred to the solution in equilibrium with the melt. Table 1 lists examples of the distribution of tin in granite melt and water, water-chloride hydrothermal solutions. It can be seen that the tin content is minimal in a solution that is in equilibrium with the melt, even very rich in tin.
