当今世界,政党政治主导着世界绝大多数国家和地区政治的走向。全世界200多个国家和地区,存在大约5000多个政党,其中执政党只是少数。这些执政党凭借政治纲领的先进和民众的支持,在激烈的政党角逐中胜出。中国政党政治的基本格局和运作机制是中国共产党领导的多党合作和政治协商。这一中国特色的新型政党制度,较之西方国家的政党制度,有着鲜明的特点和优势。
In today’s world, party politics dominates the politics of most countries and regions in the world. There are about 5,000 political parties in more than 200 countries and regions in the world, of which the ruling party is only a minority. These ruling parties won the fierce political party competition with the advanced political program and popular support. The basic pattern and operating mechanism of Chinese party politics are the multi-party cooperation and political consultation led by the Chinese Communist Party. This new party system with Chinese characteristics has distinct features and advantages over the political party system in the western countries.
