自80年代初期以来,中国大陆与台湾地区的经济交流日渐频繁。但海峡两岸经贸关系目前仍限于民间交往,主要表现在两个方面:一是主要经由香港的转口贸易,二是台商赴大陆投资兴业。本文拟就海峡两岸经贸关系现状、成因及其发展前景作一些展望。一、海峡两岸的转口贸易1979年以来,海峡两岸的经贸关系迅速发展。1979年两岸转口贸易额激增至7700万美元,其中由台湾经香港转口到大陆的货物金额约2100万美元,由大陆经香港转口到台湾的货物金额约5600万美元.创70年代的最高记录。从此,两岸转口贸易终于由过去的秘密状态趋于明朗化,步入迅速发展的新阶段。进入80年代以后,在两岸转口贸易的发展过程中表现出如下一些特征:
Since the early 1980s, the economic exchanges between mainland China and Taiwan have become increasingly frequent. However, the cross-Strait economic and trade relations are still limited to non-governmental exchanges. They are mainly manifested in two aspects: First, re-export mainly through Hong Kong and second, Taiwanese investment in the mainland. This article intends to make some perspectives on the current situation, causes and prospects of economic and trade relations across the Taiwan Strait. I. Cross-Strait Re-export Trade Since 1979, the economic and trade relations between the two sides of the Taiwan Straits have been developing rapidly. In 1979, the cross-Strait entrepot trade soared to 77 million U.S. dollars, of which about 21 million U.S. dollars were re-exported from Taiwan to mainland China and about 56 million U.S. dollars were re-exported from mainland China to Taiwan, making it the highest record in the 1970s. Since then, the cross-Strait entrepot trade has finally become clearer from the secrecy of the past and has entered a new phase of rapid development.
