Market demand spawned “World Wind” July 19 this year is the tenth day of China Unicom’s big day, the industry has been reported that China Unicom will be around the tenth anniversary of the establishment of “World Wind” dual-mode mobile phone promotion. Convenient means of communication and means of transport have transformed the huge world into a global village. Business exchanges, political affairs and cultural exchanges among countries in the world have become increasingly frequent. People abroad go abroad and travel abroad for a holiday is no longer a dream. It is not uncommon for people abroad to go abroad. According to statistics, in recent years, the number of overseas Chinese people has witnessed a rapid growth. In 2001, the number of overseas trips was 10 million. In 2002, it was 16 million. Last year, it had approached 20 million. Another data shows that China will become the fourth largest tourist source country in the world and its annual exit number will reach over 100 million. Therefore, there is a strong demand from users for roaming between the two camps, GSM and CDMA, currently dominated by the world’s mobile communications system. Although roaming between heterogeneous networks has also emerged through the agreement between two operators, it must be realized through the way of renting a machine. The procedure is cumbersome. At the same time, because the original cell phone contains a large amount of data such as telephone numbers, the user is used to the original The usage and function of mobile phones, so unable to continue to use their original mobile phone also brings a series of troubles.
