去年是北京市东城区矫正对象刘某某人生的一个转折。1993年他因违法犯罪被判处有期徒刑12年,剥夺政治权利2年。在监狱服刑期间,因改造较好获减刑两年于2003年提前释放。刚刚获得自由的刘某某到家中看望父母,由于他的违法行为伤透了老人的心,故父亲对他冷眼相待;他原来也有一个美满幸福温暖的家,由于他的违法犯罪爱人与他离了婚。他也曾想过复婚,想重新拥有一个避风的港湾,但前妻对他已绝望至极不愿再见到他。他感到了从未有过的失落和后悔,渴望情感上的慰藉,渴望有人给他力量。在刘某某最灰暗的日子里,是街、居两级社区矫正组织向他伸出了援助之手。社区矫正组织让刘某某根据自己的实际情况向民政部门提出享受最低生活保障金的申请,并积极与有关部门沟通,尽快解决了其基本生活问题。今年春节是刘某某回归社会后的第一个春节,为了让他过一个好年,社区单位和矫正组织给他送去了米、面、油和饺子,节日期间怕他孤独和寂寞,又安排社区志愿者到他家中慰问。通过这些活动让他体会到党和政府对他的关心和爱护,体会到社会大家庭的温暖,使他感受到社会并没有遗弃他。
Last year was a turning point in the life of Liu Moumou, an object of correction in Dongcheng District, Beijing. In 1993, he was sentenced to 12 years in prison and 2 years of deprivation of political rights for committing crimes. During his prison term, he was granted a two-year reduction of sentence due to better reconstruction by early release in 2003. The community correction organization asked Liu Moumou to submit an application to the civil affairs department for enjoying the minimum living allowance according to his own actual conditions and actively communicated with the relevant departments to solve his basic living problems as soon as possible. This year’s Spring Festival is the first Spring Festival after Liu Moumou returned to society. In order to give him a good year, community units and correction organizations sent him rice, noodles, oil and dumplings for fear of being alone and lonely during the festival. Arrange for community volunteers to visit his home. Through these activities, he realized that the party and the government care for him and love him, and realized that the warmth of the social family made him feel that the community did not abandon him.
