森林是国家建设和人民生产生活的重要资源。伊春林区是我国木材生产重要基地之一。保护森林资源和木材生产,是我们地区各级法院的一项重要任务。(据统计一九七三年以来发生大小火灾六十二次,使国家森林资源受到严重损失。) 我地区各级法院在党委直接领导之下,与有关部门密切配合,通过审判活动,向各种火灾犯罪进行了坚决的斗争,这对保卫森林资源的安全,发展木材生产起了一定的作用。一九七四年五月二十一日伊春林区接连发生三起大火。一是东风林业局工程处工人邵金海上山刨地,将树头、枝丫点着,残火未熄,蔓延进山,造成重大火灾。二是东风区胜利街生产队社
