【原诗】岁暮到家【清】蒋士铨爱子心无尽①,归家喜及辰。寒衣②针线密,家信墨痕新。见面怜③清瘦,呼④儿问苦辛。低徊⑤愧⑥人子,不敢叹风尘。【注释】①尽:穷尽。②寒衣:棉衣。③怜:怜爱。④呼:指连声问。⑤低徊:迂回、曲折的意思。⑥愧:为……感到惭愧。【译文】母亲爱子女的心是无穷无尽的,我在过年的时候到家,母亲是多高兴啊!她正在为我缝棉衣,针针线线缝得密;我寄的家书刚收到,墨迹还新。一见面,母亲便怜爱地说我瘦了,连声问我在外苦不苦。我为自己没有尽到人子的责任而感到惭愧,不敢对她说在外漂泊的辛苦。

Low 徊 ⑥ ⑥ man child, can not sigh dust. 【Notes】 ① do: exhausted. ② cold clothes: cotton. ③ pity: love love. ④ call: refers to repeatedly asked. ⑤ low latency: detour, meandering mean. ⑥ ashamed: ashamed. 【英文】 My mother loved my child’s heart is endless. When I arrived home in the Chinese New Year, my mother was so happy. She was sewing a cotton pad for me. The stitches were sewn tightly. The book I sent was just received. The ink was also returned new. As soon as I met, my mother said lovingly that I was thin and repeatedly asked me not to suffer from suffering outside. I feel ashamed for not fulfilling my responsibility as a human being, afraid to tell her the pain of wandering outside.
