当人们邂逅一位有魅力的新朋友,可能很快就会被对方表现出来的勤勉、干练所折服。但是接下来也许会发现,这位朋友私德方面并不完美,偶尔占公司便宜、爱传闲话……或者相反,他(她)非常热情善良、乐于助人,但是能力方面却比较欠缺。那么您会怎样看待这样的朋友,如何与之相处呢?与读者的猜测一致,大多数人会更倾向于与热情善良的朋友交往,同时谨慎地与那位勤勉干练的朋友保持距离。这也正是《道德与能力信息对印象形成的影响研究》一书中控制评价数据得出的结论。
When people meet an attractive new friend, they may soon be overwhelmed by their diligence and skill. But then you may find that this friend is not perfect in terms of his personal morality, occasionally making his company cheaper, gossiping ... or on the contrary, he or she is very warmhearted and helpful but has a lack of ability.
