服饰观念,是研究服饰美学、服装文化和服装设计的前提。古往今来,人们的服饰状态、服饰行为、服饰演变和发展无一不受服饰观念的支配。服饰观念又是一个比较复杂的问题,它是由服饰个体或群体的主客观多重因素而形成的,它包括自然和生活条件、生活方式、伦理道德、文化传统观念、时尚价值观念,以及审美观念等等。不同的个人、不同的民族、不同的时代形成不同的服饰观念,产生不同的服装文化。从大的方面,如果抓住服饰观念这个根本点,将中国的与西方的服装文化加以比较,就能明显地看出各自的特色;清楚地看到彼此的长处与短处;发现两者的联系与差别。这将有助于更深入、系统地认识我国服装文化的历史与现状,在与西方服装文化的比较中找出差距,更新服饰观念,从而提高我们的理论认识水平和设计创新能力。纵观中、西方服装的发展历史和现状,表现在服饰观念上主要有以下几点区别: 1.西方重造型的美,中国重装饰的美服装是以人体为依附显示造型的,它随着人体的运动姿态和穿着者的交往活动,呈现为动态的时空造型,正如奥格尔把服装比喻
Costume concept, is the study of clothing aesthetics, clothing culture and costume design premise.
