鸦片战争前后的广西同其他地区一样,开始逐步向近代化方向发展。通过对这一时期广西粮食亩产值的估算,得出广西的平均粮食亩产值为白银1.64两,是同时期江南的二分之一,但是这一时期广西的亩产量却要远远高于工业革命前的英国。
Before and after the Opium War, Guangxi, like other regions, began to gradually develop toward modernization. Through the estimation of grain output per mu in Guangxi during this period, it can be concluded that the average output per mu of grain in Guangxi is 1.64 taels of silver, which is one-half of that in the same period.
