潢川有着光荣的革命历史,是革命老区,也是一个贫困地区。全县现有小学275所,中学40所。小学教师3832人,初中教师1877人,高中教师372人。在校中、小学生126000余人,专任中小学教师5552名。党的十一届三中全会以后,随着全党工作重点的转移与教育战略地位的确立,我们选择了师资队伍建设这个突破口,把它摆到教育事业发展的战略重点位置,咬定青山,常抓不懈,收到明显成效。
Huangchuan has a glorious revolutionary history. It is an old revolutionary area and a poor area. The county has 275 primary schools and 40 middle schools. There are 3832 primary school teachers, 1877 junior high school teachers and 372 high school teachers. There are more than 126,000 middle school and primary school students and 5,522 full-time primary and secondary school teachers. After the Third Plenary Session of the 11th Party Central Committee, with the shift in the work focus of the Party and the establishment of a strategic position in education, we chose the breakthrough in the construction of the teaching staff and put it in the strategic focus of the development of the education industry. Unremittingly, it received significant results.
