体操运动员应该学会对手的正确护理,主要是为了能长期的、更系统的进行训练。根据杰克·罗克韦尔1979年以来对美国国家队的调查表明,体操运动员每天坚持对手的护理,能够减少被拉破皮的几率。首先,他介绍要保持手的光滑,使老茧处于一个良好的状态,削掉凸起处或抓杠时容易裂开的部份。因为茧长得太厚,一个深口子被拉开的几率将增大。体操运动员每天还应使用羊毛脂或优质芦荟蛋护肤脂,以保持皮肤柔软,光滑的手摩擦力较小,移动灵活,被拉破口的几率就小。
Gymnasts should learn the proper care of their opponents primarily for long-term, more systematic training. According to Jack Rockwell’s survey of US national teams since 1979, gymnasts insist on daily opponent care and can reduce their chances of being ripped off. First of all, he introduced the parts that should be kept smooth, the cocoon in good condition, and the easy-to-split parts of the bosses or bars. Because the cocoon grows too thick, the chance of a deep hole being pulled apart will increase. Gymnasts should also use lanolin or high-quality aloe vera egg skin care cream every day to keep the skin soft and smooth, with less hand friction, flexible movement and less chance of being torn apart.
