国内导向型公司许多受采访的供应国内市场的公司原来都是当东盟国家实施保护性贸易壁垒时投资于制造业工厂的厂商。后来,其投资归因于东盟经济发展所掀起的国内需求浪潮以及需要同进口产品竞争,它们向那些转移到该地区的客户提供售后服务和技术帮助。对于化工公司来说,转移到该地区是很重要的。它们也表示说,厂址设在东盟是很重要的,因为这样就容易获得诸如石油等原料,用以生产它们的化工产品。
Domestic-oriented companies Many of the companies interviewed for supplying the domestic market turned out to be manufacturers that invested in manufacturing factories when ASEAN countries implemented protective trade barriers. Later, its investment was attributed to the wave of domestic demand emanating from the economic development of ASEAN and the need to compete with imported products, providing after-sales services and technical assistance to those customers relocated to the area.
