Objective: To investigate the prevalence of HCV infection and HCV genotypes in different populations of Tibetans. The results of anti-HCV ELISA and HCV RNA genotypes were tested in 781 serum samples from different Tibetan populations in Tibet. The results showed that natural The positive rates of anti-HCV in population, acute hepatitis, chronic tortuous hepatitis, chronic active hepatitis, cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma were 2.4%, 8.3%, 15.8%, 25.9%, 34.8% and 24.3% Among them, 51.6% had history of blood transfusion and history of blood products. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that transmission of menstrual blood is the main route of HCV infection in this area. The distribution of HCV genotypes in this area is mainly type II (51.4%), Followed by type Ⅲ (27.0%) and type Ⅰ (6.8%), and a small amount of mixed type (14.8%).
