经济全球化是 21世纪中国的最大机遇，也是西部地区的一次空前机遇。我们面临的最大的挑战是人类的不安全，我们最有效的战略就是提出我们自己的经济全球化战略。文中提出我们要搞开放型经济，而不是外向型经济。具体分析了投资自由化，企业全球化的内涵及其与经济全球化的关系。在对发展过程中的得失比较的基础上，思考我们面临的机遇与挑战。
Economic globalization is the greatest opportunity for China in the 21st century and an unprecedented opportunity in the western region. The greatest challenge we face is human insecurity. Our most effective strategy is to propose our own economic globalization strategy. The article put forward that we should engage in an open economy, not an export-oriented economy. Specifically analyzed the connotation of investment liberalization, enterprise globalization and its relationship with economic globalization. On the basis of comparison of gains and losses in the development process, we should consider the opportunities and challenges we face.
