Objective: To detect human papillomavirus (HPV) in breast cancer patients in this area and to study the correlation between HPV subtypes and breast cancer. METHODS: A total of 182 breast cancer patients from January 2010 to January 2013 in our district were selected as the study group. Thirty patients with benign breast tumors were selected as the control group. The DNA was extracted from the homogenized microarray detection system The HPV infection and subtypes in two groups were observed. Results: There were 67 cases of HPV positive in both groups, of which 66 cases were positive in study group, the positive rate was 36.26%, and the positive rate was 3.33% in control group. The positive rate in study group was significantly higher than that in control group Significant (P <0.05). Subtype test results showed that seven kinds of HPV subtypes were detected, of which five were high-risk types, namely HPV16, HPV18, HPV58, HPV51 and HPV56, and low-risk type were HPV6,11 . The study group of high-risk type in 61 cases, 5 cases of low-risk type, control group, 1 case of HPV6. The positive rates of HPV in stage I, stage II, stage III and stage IV breast cancer were 16.28%, 19.71%, 62%, 100% respectively. The positive rates of HPV in stage III and stage IV patients were significantly higher than those in stage I, II, Staging positive rate was significantly different (P <0.05). Conclusion: The positive rate of HPV in breast cancer patients is obviously high, and most of them are high-risk subtypes. And the positive rate of HPV is positively correlated with the pathological stage, which indicates that HPV infection in this area is correlated with the occurrence and development of breast cancer Sex, the relevance of the two still needs further exploration.
