近代中國翻譯小説《昕夕閑談》的譯者問題,一百多年來一直是個難解之謎。本文利用當時的報刊雜誌,有關清人詩文集、日記、奏稿及縣志,包括未刊手稿、科考案卷等原始資料,論證化名“蠡勺居士”的譯者即《申報》館第一任主筆蔣其章。繼對蔣氏身世與生平事迹,及這一時期的思想n況,有關翻譯、出版事宜與意義和影響等,作了考察和論析。
The translator’s question in the modern Chinese translation novel “Xin Xi Chat” has been a mystery for more than 100 years.
