(一)有很长时间了,我尽可能不对所谓的“中国现代舞”发表议论。这是因为我自己所信奉的舞评“教条”在制约。其一,倘若论及作品,我不能不关注舞者,不能不关注其“真实表现”中“莫名”但并不“奇妙”的心态。其二,倘若写成评论,我不能不考虑题旨,不能不考虑“中国现代舞”仅仅是一种形式的操演还是一种心态的运作,不能不考虑它与国民心态现状的关联及其意义。在我看来,“中国现代舞”不是中国现代舞者个人的事业;离开了中国社会的现状,离开了对中国社会现状的使命感,我们很难仅仅从动作形式上或从某种“莫名”心态上对所谓的“中国现代舞”进行价值评估——因为事实上,我们许多现代舞者的“心态”并不“现代”;有个别现代舞者的“心态”甚至完全与“现代人”的发展方向相悖离。“中国现代舞”不能仅仅从动作形式风格上来识别,这是显而易见的。
