赵紫阳同志说,什么是社会主义道路现在谁也讲不清,四个坚持只要提党的领导,其他可少提或不提。这显然是十分错误的。众所周知,政党是阶级斗争的工具。中国共产党以在中国实现社会主义,进而实现共产主义为其纲领。如果否定了社会主义道路,党的领导又有什么意义,这样的党又是什么性质的呢?这决不是一个假设的问题,人们只要观察一下帝国主义对社会主义国家和平演变的战略,及其在一定范围和某种程度的得逞,就不能不令人感到触目惊心。所以弄清什么是社会主义,如何坚持社会主义,对于我们今后继续改革开放具有十分重要意义的。
