杜聿明(1904-1989),字光亭,陕西米脂人,国民党陆军中将。1949年1月在淮海战役中被俘。1959年12月4日第一批获特赦。1981年5月7日因病逝世,终年77岁。1904年11月28日,陕西省米脂县地主杜良奎妻子生了一个胖乎乎的小子,这个初生婴儿,就是杜聿明。谁也不会料到,这个小男孩后来成为不仅在整个中国,而且在世界上都是有名气的人。1923年,19岁的杜聿明奉父母之命,与比他大两岁的曹秀清结了婚。第二年春天,不甘心一辈子呆在农村的杜聿明告别父母、妻子,投考黄埔军校,成为黄埔第一期学生。1924年,杜聿明从黄埔军校毕业,凭借自己的才能深受蒋介石的青睐,他在1932年就当上少将旅长。仅仅8年时间,杜聿明即从一名军校毕业生升为将军。这一年,杜聿明年仅28岁。
Du Yuming (1904-1989), word kiosk, Shaanxi Mizhi people, lieutenant general of the Kuomintang. January 1949 was captured in the Huaihai Campaign. December 4, 1959 the first batch of amnesty. May 7, 1981 died of illness, at the age of 77 years. On November 28, 1904, Du Liangkui, the landlord of Mizhi County, Shaanxi Province, gave birth to a chubby kid. This newborn baby is Du Yuming. No one expected that this young boy later became a famous person not only in China as a whole but also in the world. In 1923, Du Yuming, 19, was married to Cao Xiuqing, who was two years older than his parents. The following spring, Du Yuming, who was unwilling to spend all his life in the countryside, bid farewell to his parents and his wife to take the Whampoa Military Academy and became the first student of Whampoa. In 1924, Du Yuming graduated from Whampoa Military Academy, by virtue of his talent by Chiang Kai-shek’s favor, he became Brigadier General in 1932. In just eight years, Du Yuming was promoted from a military graduate to general. This year, Du Yu is only 28 years old next year.
