2002年9月13日。 这是一个令黑龙江省拜泉县广大干部和群众都不愿回忆的日子。就在这一天,党的好干部、人民的好儿子、护林英雄——吴忠革,为保护国家财产,在同罪犯搏斗中献出了年轻的生命。 吴忠革1969年3月20日出生在黑龙江省拜泉县一个农民家庭,经过党的培养和教育,使他由一名普通农民的儿子,成长为一名优秀的党员干部和民兵干部。他身兼机关民兵连连长、乡林业站站长二职,任劳任怨,尽职尽责地工作,在平凡的岗位上一干就是十几个春秋。
