隐喻本质上是一种认知模式。英汉两种语言在隐喻的建构上既有认知的共性,又存在着文化个性。隐喻的特点造成隐喻迁移的可能性和复杂性。
Metaphor is essentially a cognitive model. Both English and Chinese have cognitive commonalities and cultural identities in the construction of metaphors. The characteristics of metaphor cause the possibility and complexity of metaphor migration.
