10月24日,中共中央颁布了《公民道德建设实施纲要》(以下简称《纲要》),引起社会上的广泛关注。民进中央对此极为重视,早在4月19日,《纲要》颁布之前,民进中央受中央统战部的委托,专门召开座谈会,对中共中央宣传部制定的《公民道德建设实施纲要(征求意见稿)》的时代感、理论性、科学性和可操作性等问题进行讨论,提出了一些意见和建议,其中一些可行性建议已被吸纳到《纲要》中。为了加强社会主义精神文明建设,进一步推动《纲要》的贯彻实施,民进中央于11月7日再次召开专题座谈会。会上,从事教育、文化、出版等工作的专家学者发表了许多真知灼见。民进中央的有关领导也出席了此次座谈会。现将与会者的发言(按先后为序)摘发如下,供读者参阅。
