文化是民族的灵魂和血脉,是人民的精神家园。党的十七届六中全会就我国文化大发展大繁荣作出重要决定,这是执政兴国的重要内容,是建设社会主义文化强国的行动纲领,也是对中国特色社会主义理论的丰富和发展。六中全会《决定》指出,我国具有深厚的文化底蕴和丰富的文化资源,要全面认识祖国传统文化,维护民族文化基本元素,加强对优秀传统文化思想价值的挖掘和阐发。这对我们提高对明清档案价值的认识,积极推动明清档案文化事业科学发展具有重要的现实指导意义。
Culture is the soul and blood of the nation and the spiritual home of the people. The important decision made by the 6th Plenary Session of the 17th CPC Central Committee on the great development and prosperity of our country is an important part of governing and rejuvenating the country. It is a program of action for building a socialist country with a strong cultural foundation and an enrichment and development of the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics. The “Decision” of the 6th Plenary Session pointed out that our country has a profound cultural background and rich cultural resources. We must fully understand the traditional culture in our motherland, safeguard the basic elements of national culture, and strengthen the excavation and elucidation of the ideological values of outstanding traditional culture. This is of great realistic guiding significance for us to raise our awareness of the value of archives in the Ming and Qing Dynasties and to actively promote the scientific development of archival and cultural undertakings in the Ming and Qing dynasties.
