我国正处在体制变革、社会转型的新形势下,一些由于少数民族或者因社会问题引发的矛盾和纠纷日趋突出,在一定程度上严重影响到我国民族的团结和社会的稳定。因此,研究新形势下影响民族团结的因素,对促进民族团结和社会的稳定,推进少数民族和民族地区经济发展,构建社会主义和谐社会具有重大的现实意义。
Our country is under the new situation of institutional transformation and social transformation. Some contradictions and disputes arising from ethnic minorities or from social issues have become increasingly prominent. To a certain extent, this has seriously affected the unity of our nation and social stability.
