平湖市公安局城关派出所所辖城关镇是平湖市的政治、经济、文化中心,面积达12平方公里,有37个居委会和1个蔬菜村,常住人口达55114人,暂住人口1万余人,企事业单位5百余家,公复场所3百余家,特业近百家。该所20名民警在所长徐勤昌和党支部一班人的带领下,以争创“人民满意派出所”为工作目际,团结奋战,开拓进取,狠抓管理,强化防范,全方位推进派出所工作机制和勤务方式的改革,促进了各项工作的发展,基本达到了“发案少,秩序好,群众满意”的目标。1994年至今,已连续4次被评为嘉兴市十佳公安派出所,被嘉兴市人民政府授予“人民满意派出所”;获省厅二级达标所,连续三年被省厅授予规范化派出所,1996年获全省优秀公安派出所;多次荣立集体三等功。此外,还荣获先进党支部、先进户籍室等多项荣誉,受嘉奖以上表彰的民警达36人次。总结他们的经验,主要有: 一、推行“一区一警”讲科学,求实效。该所在去年7月全面推行“一区一警”制度时,紧紧依靠群众,充分发扬民主,广泛听取意见,使划分的责任区和制订的考核办法做到科学、合理,从而调动
