努力实现差生的良性转化是初中化学大面积提高教学质量的重要途径。根据差生的致差原因,通常可以将差生分为三类。第一类——非智力因素致差生。他们约占差生总数的三分之二,其中以男生居多。这类差生的智力并不差,只是他们的自制能力不强,没有明确的理想,但在他们感兴趣的领域内,常表现出很高的智力水平。由于社会影响,家庭教育和教学方法等诸多原因,他们怕学、厌学。对这些学生如教育不力,他们便会干扰正常教学的进行,造成恶性循环。
