就业是民生之本。长期以来,人们对就业的关注更多的是如何降低失业率和扩大就业数量,却忽略了就业的另一个重要维度——就业质量。从20世纪90年代末开始,我国学者对就业质量的内涵、指标体系、影响因素以及提高就业质量的对策建议进行了研究。但是,就业质量的高低对我国经济发展水平究竟有何影响,以及影响有多大,对于这一问题到目前为止还没有一个客观的回答。本文通过运用主成分分析方法,将就业质量与经济发展水平的综合得分进行回归,最终得到就业质量对经济发展水平存在显著的正向影响。因此,为促进我国经济更好发展,要推动实现高质量的就业。
Employment is the foundation of people’s livelihood. For a long time, people have paid more attention to employment in terms of reducing the unemployment rate and expanding the number of employment, but have neglected another important dimension of employment - the quality of employment. Since the late 1990s, Chinese scholars have studied the connotation of employment quality, the index system, the influencing factors and the countermeasures to improve the quality of employment. However, the impact of the quality of employment on the level of economic development in our country and the magnitude of the impact have not yet been answered objectively on this issue so far. In this paper, by using principal component analysis method, the comprehensive score of employment quality and economic development level is regressed, and finally the employment quality has a significant positive impact on the level of economic development. Therefore, in order to promote a better economic development in our country, we must promote high-quality employment.
