据英国《金属通报》统计,1965年世界钢总产量为4.25亿吨(1964年为4.33亿吨)。估计1970年世界钢产量将达6～7亿吨。美国1965年产钢1.18亿吨,苏联9,100万吨。据说,以后几年美国的钢产量要下降,苏联将取而代之。苏联计划1970年产钢1.24～1.25亿
According to the British “Metal Bulletin,” the total world steel output in 1965 was 425 million tons (433 million tons in 1964). It is estimated that the world’s steel output will reach 600 million to 700 million tons in 1970. The United States produced 118 million tons of steel in 1965 and 91 million tons in the Soviet Union. It is said that in the next few years the U.S. steel output will drop and the Soviet Union will replace it. The Soviet Union plans to produce 1.24-1.5 billion steel in 1970
