龚鉴尧是我国著名的统计专家、高级统计师、教授、国际统计学会会员。曾任广东省统计局局长 ,广东省第七届人大常务委员会委员、财经委员会副主任 ,预算委员会委员 ,中国统计学会副会长 ,全国统计学术委员会委员 ,广东省统计学会会长 ,《统计与预测》杂志主编和《广东统计年鉴》主编、《广东年鉴》副主编等职。是暨南大学经济学院、西南财经大学兼职教授。本期刊出记者对他的专访文章。
