杜英又名胆八树,为杜英科杜英属常绿树种。其树干通直圆满、挺拔俊秀,卵圆形树冠浑圆、丰满。入秋后,杜英有部分叶片转成绯红色,红绿相间,鲜艳悦目,富于美感。杜英叶薄革质、倒卵状椭圆形或倒卵状披针形、无毛,树皮平滑、质感细腻。其根系发达,适应能力强,能在条件较差的环境中正常生长。因此,定植后的养护管理就比较简单,节约了养护所需耗费的人力和财力,降低了管理成本。杜英也是抗病虫
