殡葬行业是涉及广大群众的公共事业,死有所葬是民生的重要组成部分,因而殡葬行业具有公益事业的性质。国务院即将颁布的《殡葬管理条例》将殡仪馆、火葬场都列入了公益性、非营利机构。只有进一步提高社会公益水平,才能更好地体现殡葬行业“为民服务、为民解困”的宗旨,才能夯实便民殡葬、诚信殡葬、阳光殡葬、绿色殡葬的基础。
The funeral industry is a public utility involving the broad masses of people. The death of a funeral is an important part of people’s livelihood. Therefore, the funeral industry has the nature of public welfare undertakings. The State Council promulgated the “Funeral Management Ordinance” will be funeral parlors, crematoria included in the public welfare, non-profit institutions. Only by further raising the level of social welfare, can the funeral industry better reflect the purpose of serving the people and solving the difficulties for the people, so as to consolidate the foundation of convenient funerals, honest funerals, sunshine funerals and green funerals.
